“Planetary Health” is a new discipline concerning the health of human civilization and the state of the natural systems upon which it depends. Planetary Health involves holistic research where there are intersectoral challenges requiring complex solutions. System changes are vital but slow to implement. Micro-adjustments can be used for adaptive management but we need big change.
